It all started with a concern
"The richness of the essential: valuing the good, forever."
We live in an era of accelerated consumption, where what's true and essential is lost amid the ephemeral and immediate. We're inundated with superficiality, chasing after what's practical and trendy, losing sight of what truly matters.
But pause.
Remember: that grandmother's watch, that backpack you've had for years... The things we love, that we repair and use for decades, hold stories that transcend time.
We're alarmed by the disappearance of the culture of care. In a world where disposable items are the norm and no one says "what a waste!" anymore, we seek to redefine true luxury: that which lasts, can be mended, and is passed down.
From this concern Casa TSUGU was born, inspired by the philosophy of Slow Ownership —
A way to relate to objects more consciously, choosing fewer, but better. It's an invitation to reconnect with what's essential, to value the history, the craft, and the permanence of what surrounds us. It's not just about owning, but about caring for, accompanying, and allowing ourselves to be accompanied by objects with soul.

What inspires TSUGU
Our brand name, TSUGU (継ぐ) , was born from the desire to “reconnect the interrupted and inherit it into the future.”
To achieve this, we rely on three fundamental pillars:
– Handmade artisanal work
– Durability
– Designs that transcend generations
We believe that what is lovingly created by human hands carries with it a warmth and strength that machines cannot replicate.
We're passionate about high-quality parts that are built to last and easy to repair, with a sustainable approach: If it breaks, it's fixed.
Our designs avoid passing fads so they can last 10, 20 years... or more.
Through this project, we not only want to offer beautiful objects, but also convey the profound value of acts such as
We want to share the joy of caring for things over time, and turn each repair into a story that lasts generations.

What we offer
What we offer are objects with history, created to accompany you throughout your life.
Kitchen utensils handcrafted by artisans, accessories that retain their beauty over time, and everyday objects designed to be easily repaired.
These pieces gain character with each use, and when something is damaged, it's not the end: there will always be a way to give them new life.
They are objects that travel from generation to generation, carrying memories with them and becoming part of your family legacy.
This enduring relationship between people and their possessions is what we call Slow Ownership .
