Each candle burns for approximately 20 minutes , making them ideal for a short meditation, a mindful pause, or a moment of rest between tasks on stressful days.

Haze Wax Candles (Japanese Tree) - brown color
Main ingredient: Vegetable wax extracted from the nut of the Haze tree
Characteristics: Large, dynamic, and difficult-to-extinguish flame. Produces very little smoke.
Other details: It has a low melting point, so it melts and solidifies easily.
Rice bran wax candles - beige
Main ingredient: Vegetable wax extracted from rice bran

About the brand
About the brand
Kyoto, Japan
Nakamura Candle, founded in 1887 in Fushimi, Kyoto, is a traditional Japanese candle maker (wa-rousoku), and one of the few shops in all of Japan where this craft is still preserved.
Using only 100% plant-based ingredients, such as haze wax and rice bran, each candle is handcrafted by skilled artisans. The colors come from traditional Japanese painting pigments, and the scents come from natural essential oils, ensuring a product that is safe for both health and the environment.
In addition, the used wax is reused and the company actively participates in the reforestation of the hagi tree, thus contributing to the protection of the natural environment and the preservation of Japanese culture.
Precautions
Precautions
Precautions for using candles
- When lighting a candle, place it in a suitable candle holder and keep it within sight.
- Do not place flammable objects near the candle.
- Do not use in drafty areas.
- Traditional Japanese candles (warōsoku) have a thick wick, so the flame may be larger. Take special care.
- During and just after burning, the candlestick and candle may be hot and cause burns, so avoid touching them.
- If there is excess wick left during burning, remove the excess, leaving 1 or 2 cm, using a wick cutter or tweezers.
- Remove all wrapping paper before use.
- When storing it, avoid places exposed to direct sunlight and high temperatures and humidity. Otherwise, it may become discolored or deformed.
- Since vegetable wax is used, a layer of white powder may form on the surface over time. If this happens, wipe it off with a soft cloth. It will not affect its use.
