This octagonal tray is precisely crafted, reminiscent of a large flower in full bloom. Each petal-shaped section is carefully carved from solid KEYAKI wood and skillfully assembled using the traditional Japanese woodworking technique of "Sashimono," used for centuries in Wajima to join pieces of wood without nails or screws.
Available in two sizes:
Small: ideal for serving tea for 1 to 3 people.
Large: perfect for 4 to 5 people.
Its depth ensures utensils stay securely in place. Beyond tea, it can beautifully display small favorites, relaxation items like aromatherapy pieces, or seasonal ornaments, adding a touch of charm to any space.
A stand and wall hook are included to display the tray as a decorative piece. The design allows the tray to elegantly hang from its base, creating the illusion of floating when placed on the stand.

Founded in 1947 in Wajima, Ishikawa, Japan, AIZAWA Wood Works specializes in the manufacture of wooden products with a focus on delicate craftsmanship and rustic charm.
Using carefully aged, natural solid wood and applying numerical control (NC) machining techniques, they create wooden tableware with exceptional craftsmanship. Their philosophy is: "Streams nourish forests; trees nourish people."
The raw materials used for AIZAWA (KITO) products are thoroughly dried before manufacturing. They should not warp or crack during regular use unless abruptly exposed to extreme temperature or humidity differences.
They are coated with liquid glass, making them also suitable for serving food. Dish soap and a sponge can be used to wash the produce. A damp cloth can also be used to clean minor stains.
Do not use dishwasher.
