Designer OJI Masanori initially envisioned creating a wooden platter for serving slices of bread, and from that idea emerged two versatile board sizes: the Brunch Board and the Charcuterie Board.

Brunch Board: perfect for enjoying bread, pancakes, salads, or even a full meal on one plate.

Charcuterie Board: Ideal for elegantly presenting ham, salami, cheeses, and more; perfect for a wine-filled gathering.

These pieces are made from Japanese cherry wood. Since large-diameter logs are rare, narrower sections generated from the production of other items are used, carefully joining them together. Thanks to the grooves carved into the surface, the joints are almost invisible and also serve practical purposes:

They keep toast from getting soggy, allow cups and pots to be placed securely when used as a tray, and make it easier to lift the board off the table thanks to their slight relief on the edges.

Beyond the table, they're very versatile companions. You can stack several in a basket for a picnic, or mount a coffee maker and dripper directly on the board to make coffee on the go.

Careful

The raw materials used for AIZAWA (KITO) products are thoroughly dried before manufacturing. They should not warp or crack during regular use unless abruptly exposed to extreme temperature or humidity differences.

They are coated with liquid glass, making them also suitable for serving food. Dish soap and a sponge can be used to wash the produce. A damp cloth can also be used to clean minor stains.

Do not use dishwasher.
